Free Internet Access
With the SOHO Central Earn Your Access Program, we reward our
customers for referring business colleagues and other businesses. By just
telling others how much you like SOHO Central Business Class Internet Access, you
can earn free Internet access. If you refer one business colleague, you earn one
month's free access. Refer two, and you earn two free months, and so on.
There's no limit to how many new business colleagues you can refer in a day,
week, month, or even year.
How It Works
Referral Process
- Give your colleagues or business associates your SOHO Central username or
e-mail address. Have them call (877) 287-5940 to open their SOHO Central
56K Nationwide Business Class Internet Access account. Make sure that they
give your username or e-mail address at the time they sign up.
Business associates you refer must tell the SOHO Central sales representative
your SOHO Central username or e-mail address during the registration process in
order for your account to be properly credited for the free month — be
sure that they know your username! We will verify that you are an active
customer while are over the phone with your referral.
- When your business associate registers and mentions you as the referrer,
you'll be sent a confirmation email.
- Once the new referral has been a paying customer for 60 days, a credit (a
value of $17.95) is applied by eliminating or reducing the charge to your
credit card (or not debiting your bank account) for the next billing cycle.
The Fine Print
- The business colleague you refer must pay at least 2 times before you will
be eligible for your credit. This reflects full month payments if your
referral is paying month to month. If your referral pays by the quarter,
half-yearly or yearly, you will eligible immediately.
- The referral credit is $19.95 or the amount that your referred business
colleague is paying for an eligible service, whichever is lower. If
you are paying less than $19.95 a month, the credit will equal the recurring
monthly fee paid by you. This means that the system will credit you with
$19.95
or less depending on the amount your referred business colleague or you are
paying per month for an eligible service.
- We will credit your referral fee on your normal monthly billing date
following your referrals eligibility.
- Both you and your referral must be active customers at the time we credit
your account and both of you must be current in your payments or we the
credit will be denied.
- If you become inactive or cancel your service, all of your referral
credits will be cancelled.
- Referral credits do not have cash value, and can only be applied to a
recurring monthly fee.
- If the referral has free days of service the referral credit eligibility
date will commence after the free days.
- Referrals must be business colleagues, small office/home office business
owners, or small or medium sized business owners. We do not accept consumers
as customers. Our service is strictly for business.
Examples of Above
Scenario #1
Your referral orders SOHO Central 56K Business Class Nationwide Internet Access on
11/1/99. Your referral pays for the service quarterly (3 months) at $56.85
($18.95 per month). Your billing date is the 15th of every month. As a result,
the referral credit eligibility date is 11/15/99. You will be credited $ 18.95
on 11/15/99.
Scenario #2
Your referral orders SOHO Central 56K Business Class Nationwide Internet Access on
11/1/99. Your referral pays for the service monthly at $19.95. On 1/1/2000, your
referral will have paid twice. Your billing date is the 15th of every month. As
a result, the referral credit eligibility date is 1/15/2000. You will be
credited $ 19.95 on 1/15/2000.
Scenario #3
Your referral orders SOHO Central 56K Business Class Nationwide Internet Access on
11/1/99. Your referral pays for the service monthly at $19.95. You purchase our
service half yearly (6 months) at $102.00 ($17.00 per month). On 1/1/2000, your
referral will have paid twice. Your billing date is the 15th of every month. As
a result, the referral credit eligibility date is 1/15/2000. You will be
credited $ 17.00 on 1/15/2000.
