GoldMine 5.0 Client/Server provides workgroup contact management, sales force automation, Internet integration and opportunity management tools in a solution that hosts a variety of SQL databases including: Oracle, Microsoft SQL and Informix.  GoldMine transparently converts data across these systems allowing you to share contact information across a mixed database environment.  Using GoldMine 5.0 client/server with GoldSync 5.0 also allows customers to synchronize data between multiple remote sites on different databases giving you timely information about all of your contacts. Since selecting a database is one of the most important decisions any business makes, GoldMine 5.0 uniquely offers customers the flexibility to choose from any of the most popular client/server databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Borland InterBase, Sybase SQL Server, as well as servers from Informix and Oracle. GoldSync 5.0 offers unattended, automated processing of remote synchronization across 3 or more GoldMine databases, systems (licenses) and users.  GoldSync gives you the flexibility to automatically perform bi-directional data exchanges to make sharing information easier, regardless of your team's location.  GoldSync also provides additional control by allowing administrators to filter data by criteria such as territory, salesperson or customer type.  In addition to contact information, you can also synchronize data structures, lookup lists and customizations.  GoldSync is now completely multi-threaded. Performance improvements include support for up to 500 simultaneous WAN connections.
