Open Transport
is Apple's newest networking architecture. It is much faster than the old networking software (MacTCP and MacPPP), however it is difficult to configure. We have provided several graphical pages that will help you in
your configuring of your Open Transport software. All the data must be entered exactly as it appears on our pages or it will not work. When ever you close an Open Transport window (PPP, Modem
, or TCP/IP) you will get the following message if you make any changes. Simply hit the "Save" button.
There is no need to restart your computer once you have made a change in Open Transport. The changes take effect immediately. Before attempting to configure Open Transport make sure you have
Open Transport PPP installed. If you have a control panel named PPP and another called Modem then you have OT-PPP installed. If you do not then you need to
download it first. You
